Srila
Narayana Maharaja was requested by his Gurudeva to translate the
books of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura from Bengali into his native
language, Hindi. He has carried out this request by translating some
of the Thakura's most prominent books, such as Jaiva Dharma,
Caitanya-siksamrta, Bhakti-tattva-viveka, and
Vaisnava-siddhanta-mala, to name only a few.
Additionally,
Srila Narayana Maharaja has written deep, illuminating commentaries
on several classic titles, such as Bhagavad-gita,
Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu-bindu, Raga-vartma-candrika and Sri Manah
Siksa. He is presently compiling an extensive commentary on Sri Rupa
Gosvami's Ujjvala-nilamani.
He also continues to lecture in
Hindi, Bengali and English, enlightening devotees and non-devotees
alike in the deep truths of Vaisnava-siddhanta. All of his discourses
are recorded and are gradually being transcribed and compiled for
publication.
As the outcome of his unwavering determination in
writing, translating and publishing transcendental literature, these
very same titles are now being translated into English, Spanish,
French, Russian, and dozens of other languages, both in the Western
and Eastern countries. In the words of Srila Narayana Maharaja,
"It
is truly a source of great honour and happiness for us that today the
extensive Gaudiya Vaisnava literatures are appearing in many other
major languages and Gaudiya Vaisnavism is being propagated around the
world."
